Privacy Policy

The 'Learning to die, learning to live' programme is a project of CareSpace, a social enterprise run in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. All personal data collected by this programme is subject to the privacy policy of CareSpace.

Data Collection

CareSpace collects personal data from participants who attend coaching trajectories, courses or events with them (the 'participants') or receive other services from CareSpace, in order to maintain a record of its participants, for the execution of payment orders and for the purposes of communicating with clients. CareSpace will be careful when collecting this data and will always comply with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act.

CareSpace can also use the aforementioned personal data to keep the participant informed about follow-up programme activities. If the participant no longer wishes to receive communications from CareSpace, they can unsubscribe by sending an email to info@carespace.nl.

CareSpace also collects personal data from interested parties who sign up via the website to receive news about the programme. If a reader no longer wishes to receive emails, they can unsubscribe via the "unsubscribe" option at the bottom of all emails. Without prior written consent, CareSpace will never transfer personal data of the participants to a third party.

CareSpace may share information relevant to the carrying out of online meditation activities with The Meditation Cafe. This will always be on a need-to-know basis.

Changes or Deletion of Data

At the request of the participant, CareSpace will correct, add, or delete the collected data of the participant. At any time, the participant can ask CareSpace to provide information on which of their personal data is being processed. A request can be emailed to info@carespace.nl.

In case CareSpace wishes to use information from a participant for a purpose not mentioned in this Privacy Policy, we will make a prior announcement, allowing the participant to object.

Changes

CareSpace reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy.
